A Saudi Arabian man was captured at Detroit Metro Airport after powers said he made a false comment regarding why he carried a force cooker with him on a flight from Amsterdam, an agent for the Us lawyer in Detroit said on Monday.
Hussain al-Kwawahir, 33, landed in Detroit on Saturday and was addressed regarding why he had carried a force cooker with him. Force cookers were utilized within the Boston Marathon shelling as parts of the mechanisms.
Powers said he at first said he carried the cooker with him for his nephew, who is a college learner in Ohio. He later modified that story and was captured on suspicion of making a false comment, the agent said.
He was additionally accused of adjusting his identification since a page was torn out of the archive, the agent said.
